The Wiener Works has been serving the Danville , Illinois Area since 1976 locally owned and operated bringing you the very best "mouth watering" hotdogs.  The famous footlong hot dog, chili dog, and home of the Original French Fry Delight.  The French Fry Delight was discovered in the kitchen by Stan Jackowski in 1982. Walt Jackowski founded WILD WEDNESDAY, the famous footlong special day. You can be certain every Wednesday we have customers lined around the building waiting to get our famous footlong hot dog.

The Wiener Works first started on Main Street across from the Danville Civic Center 30 years ago with a limited menu.  We still serve every sandwich to order, priding in our quality, quickness, and our prices that have always been reasonable. Today, we have over 70 menu items. The footlong is the number one seller year after year.  The French delight being among the famous line up. We have our top big sandwiches, an all beef Chicago Style Hot Dog, Italian Beef Sandwich, The Big ¼ lb Dog.
We also offer an entire hamburger line; single, double, triple burgers.  The hamburgers include chili burger, taco burger, and pizza burger. We have delicious french fries, onion rings, cheese sticks, corn dog puppies, and wonderful ice cream.  We actually have something for everyone.
